I see these on for sale sites in like new condition (doesn't run the software they need and beyond return period) for $1K so saving $200+tax.

I have the 16GB version and would definitely recommend it over the 8GB based on memory usage stats on activity monitor.

Love my mac but can we reach out to Apple to fire whoever decided that the current charger was better than the magsafe chargers?

And can we for the love of god thin the bezzels on the screen? It's like its 1999 with these huge bezels. Apple can do much better.

I feel like they do stuff like this (large bezels) so they can come out later with an "upgraded" version with thinner bezels.

The macbook air should be enough for most students. You can get it for $899 through apple directly with student discount

Yeah and u can trade in your old Mac laptop if you got one to make it even cheaper. They offered my like $300 for my old 2013 Macbook Pro that I'm thinking of trading in for this much newer mac laptop!

I jut bought an Air and holy shit is it fast. I have no idea how it loads websites so quick, but there's definitely some magic behind the scenes.

I got it direct from apple with the student discount. Well, if anyone asks, my sister bought it as she's a qualifying teacher.

I hear you. I got one of these kinds https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RD19SF2/ (not exact same, but similar). Look for one that's certified for MAC
