If you have an 11 inch iPad Pro (both the 2nd gen released last year and 1st gen will work with this) or the new iPad Air released last fall and you didn't pick one up during the Walmart or Amazon sales I highly recommend getting this deal. The Magic Keyboard was a huge upgrade for my 12.9 Pro, I still love it after 3 months.
Includes a built-in trackpad, sturdy smoothly adjustable hinge, backlit keyboard with the same switches as new MacBooks, and an extra port for charging.

Yah I was not expecting it to be that heavy. I am debating if I want to return it back to Amazon. Maybe a new version is coming and retailers is clearing up old products?
1. Logitech has more viewing angles. In this Apple keyboard, you must take the iPad out of the case if you want to read books or draw art. Apart from the angle that you see in the image above, there are no other angles this case can be adjusted to.
2. Logitech keyboard has a full row of function keys. Surprisingly, the Apple keyboard is missing that full row on the top, and a lot of users overlook that.
3. Logitech Folio provides full protection around the iPad. Apple case doesn't provide that protection.
4. Apple keyboard is attached to the case using a magnet. So, if it falls from a decent height, the chances are high that your expensive iPad may come out of the case and broken.
Don't go for the brand but think about the use-cases. I am not against Apple because I already own an iPad if I am writing this
Costco has the 12.9" for $340. Amazon and BH Photo have it for $329.

That said it's a quality product. I just think people purchase it expecting it to be a standard keyboard folio, when in fact it weighs 1.3lbs on its own. It iPad Pro 11 by itself weighs 1lb. So you're more than doubling the weight.
There is a subset of people who use an iPad as their main computing device. Heck, most people do a majority of their day-to-day computing on an iPhone. For those people, this makes sense. For the rest of us who have laptops/desktops, turning an thin-and-light iPad into a thick-and-heavy laptop defeats the purpose.
Don't one comes out every year?..
