They've been around - made by Gigabyte brand. usually sold by online venders and newegg. (This 1 gen older model saves you $300 compared to updated model).

But the updated 2021 model with AMD Ryzen 5800h with RTX 3060 max-p only costs $260 more as pre-order here>>https://slickdeals.net/f/14813395-gigabyte-a5-k1-gaming-laptop-pre-proder-15-6-fhd-240hz-ips-ryzen-7-5800h-16gb-ddr4-512gb-pcie-ssd-rtx-3060-max-p-win10h-1260-03-f-s?v=1

3060 is on horizon, the price of this laptop should be further down.

Not with the Chinese buying up every single $1000 3060 laptop to mine on.

Right now even a 1660 Ti laptop can make $3 a day @ 31 MH/s. RTX 3060 laptop can do something like 38 MH/s.

Mind you thats faster than an RTX 2080 (33-35 mh.s).

Right now ive got my laptop (1660 Ti) and desktop going (RTX 3080) and can make $12-15 a day just off those 2 devices.

you are netting a profit after factoring in power consumption? I thought that was a huge limit to a lot US based mining operations

power is hardly a concern, USA is one of the cheaper countries to mine in depending on where you live.

I pay like 8 cents per killowatt hour. My laptop uses 80 watts to give about $3 a day. Thats almost nothing in power cost.

Right now power is not a concern with mining due to how high crypto has gotten.

My price starts from 27C/kwh and would start from 33c/kwh during summer and when I need to use AC the price would be 41c/kwh. I am in Central valley California, PG&E sucks. That's why I installed solar system to cover 100% of my usage.

That Gigabyte A5 K1 Gaming Laptop Pre-Proder is a solid deal & customizations are cool but i think wait time is 3-4 weeks.
