It looks like a decent product though and a huge step up from a hand mixer. I have a similar model from a different manufacturer. Think of this more as a hand mixer with something to hold the mixer in the bowl rather than a Kitchenaid-style heavy duty one. It's not going to be able to power through the thick stuff but it's much more capable than a hand mixer. The bowl isn't going to spin around perfectly and it's unlikely that it will mix all the way to the edge of the bowl. But, it's just handy to be able to leave the mixer running rather than having to hold it all the time. The inclusion of a whisk is great too.
