BJ's Wholesale - overlapping coupons - $10 off Kleenex, $9 off Persil & more

For those BJ's Wholesale club members out there that coupon - if you remember the good old days of ONLY paper coupons and how various coupons would overlap - the monthly flyer, the weekly one, the ~ 6 month one, the postcards, etc, well now that all coupons are in the app, the overlapping continues. PLUS you can re-use them on your account without having to re-add them (all the time.... some coupons require readdition), they just never disappear (with paper coupons you could reuse coupons to your hearts' content so long as you could find more paper coupons). [And note, paper coupons aren't entirely dead - they still send out the flyers, just less frequently IMHO, and they still have the in-store flyer, but they're all duplicated in the app]

What does that mean?

Currently there are (3) coupons for Kleenex - (2) $3 and (1) $4, which means you can get any pack of Kleenex for $10 off. There are $4 and $5 coupons for Persil 225oz (the big jug) = $9 off (and it was $13 last week before one of the coupons expired).

For the Kleenex, that means you can get the 70ct/10pk for $3.99 ($0.0042/tissue) [these are the cubes not the larger boxes, it's all we use at our house and they are generally more expensive than the larger tissues anyway]. Meanwhile the BJ's house brand, 70ct/10pk is $8.49 AC ($11.99-$3.50C) ~ $0.0121/tissue - nearly 3 times the price!

For the Persil, the 225oz jug is $23.99 - $9C = $14.99 ~ $0.0622/oz. The BJ's brand is $14.99 for 170 oz ~ $0.088/oz. [note that the Persil is also an Octane item, meaning it gets you $0.10/gallon discount at your next gas fill up]

There are also overlapping coupons on Nature's Bounty HSN gummies, (2) $3/ea, Pampers Baby Dry diapers ((2) $4/ea), kids Act mouthwash ($2 and $1) and probably more.

Plus as always, you can use MQ's as well if you're into that. I don't know how often you can reuse the coupons.... I've only tried weekly.

I miss the "dub coup" days! Do they automatically come off at the register after you are done scanning? Do you know if it works with express pay? Love the detailed post. Thanks for sharing!

I've been doing this for the pampers Diapers. Double 4 dollars off. But price is still a bit high.

(2) coupons for Osteo Bi-Flex - $6 off exp 2/10 and $5 off exp 2/24 = $11 off total. I don't use this product but it seems 200 tabs of the triple strength is $16.99, so you could get 200 tabs for $5.99 ~ $0.03/tab

(2) coupons for Playtex Sport Tampons - $2/ea, exp 2/10 and 2/24 = $4 off total [octane item] - $11.99/80ct ~ $7.99/80 ct or $0.010/ea

(3) coupons for Silk Almondmilk - $0.75 off exp 3/28, $1 off exp 2/21, $1.25 off exp 2/10 = $3 off total

(3) coupons for Degree - $1 exp 2/20, $1.25 exp 2/28, $3 exp 2/28 = $5.25 total (you would have to buy a specific product for this, Degree Men/Women Dry Motionsense)

(2) coupons for Dove body wash - $5 exp 2/17, $3 exp 2/24 = $8 total

(2) coupons for (2) Gillette Refill cartridges - $4 exp 2/27 and $6 exp 2/27 = $10 total on 2

(3) coupons for Delsym - $3 exp 3/31, $2 exp 3/31, $5 exp 2/24 = $11 off

(3) coupons Snuggle liquid fabric softener - $3.50 exp 2/17, $2 exp 2/10, $2.50 exp 2/24 (must buy snuggle superfresh)

I used to be all over that but the BJ's diapers are a lot cheaper even without coupons; wipes too. "Back in the day" you could routinely get $10 - $15 off pampers (might have to buy a specific type like Swaddler or Baby dry).

We're on our way out of diapers so clinging to Pampers for the rewards just doesn't make sense.

It's pretty easy if you have the app. Go to Coupons > Available > Refine. Select "Brand" and eyeball the column until you see a Brand that has more than (1) coupon. That doesn't necessarily mean that the coupons will overlap.... some could be for different products, or different Qty of products (Nature Valley does that alot - coupon for 1 item, coupon for 2 items, etc). Also some products might be listed under "different" names - "Air Wick" is listed twice with (2) coupons each right now. There is also an offer for Eucerin:

$2 off any 1 body or baby product, then $4 off "Eucerin/Aquaphor" baby item, but they are listed as separate "Brands".

Thanks for for making a post for BJ'S Wholesale Club, I have one right up the street from me. I always see plenty of post for Sam's and Costco but not to many for BJ'S Wholesale. I'm hoping to see more posts, thanks again !!
