It honestly makes putting on lotion less terrible as I always had issue with feeling incredibly sticky afterwards or just flat out forgetting. When it is in the shower and with the rest of my regiment of cleaning myself, I never forget. My skin is stupid soft now and I used to look like a chalkboard on my arms afterwards.

I think that the extra 10s after a shower is a good tradeoff for not waiting around for lotion to absorb. Since you towel off after rubbing the lotion into your skin, your skin absorbs what it can and the towel gets the rest. It does get your towel a little stiff after a while, but I'm not sure if that's just the age of the towel. I tend to do a quick rinse after applying the lotion so my towel gets less of the excess. I leave the shower feeling moisturized, but not sticky or ready to become a slug like other lotions.
IMHO, not having that sticky feeling after applying lotion alone makes this worth it to me.
FYI: it's very important that you apply the lotion onto just turned off the shower skin. The Jergens lotion is pretty thick but mixed with the water droplets into less sticky lotion. I imagine Nivea is similar.
