Downvoted because this is not a deal. Great product but 2 bucks for 3 pairs is the standard price.

I bought 20 pair of these off Amazon for my wife and I when we traveled through Scandinavia. They're amazing, when they work. Several bags did not get more than lukewarm once opened. Probably 4 out of the 20. They did do "something" once opened, so I doubt they were already used/punctured. They were not expired either. Just low QC I guess.

Just looked up my order. Oct 7, 2018 I paid $11.88 for 20 pair. [amazon.com] We used them December 2018.

It's 3 packs of 1 pair which means 2 in each pack, that's why it says 6 in total

for neck pain, you could put some in wrap around your neck or if you have arthritis you could use this as well under your knee elastic brace or hand elastic brace

My brother, who lives in S. FL saw a neighbor walking his dog in 60° temps while wearing a puffy jacket and mittens a week or so ago.

Edit

This is in the Naples area, so way south.

"I now realize what it's like to survive winter in Florida. Went to work today and got back and my neighbor was going for a walk in full winter coat, toboggan and gloves. FYI it was 68 degrees today...."

Their one year FL anniversary just occurred in January.

Good for keeping a few of these in a disaster kit or in the glove box in case you get stranded somewhere cold. For day to day use you can use an electric pad or something that heats up in the microwave, but when those aren't available these are a decent bet.

Not sure how long these last, but there's a thermcare product used for monthly cramps I know some people can't live without. We have a few of those in our disaster kit.

Just duds. These all operate via chemical reaction where elemental iron reacts with ambient oxygen, producing heat (and rust, basically). If there's the slightest break in a package, that reaction will happen slowly and there won't be any Fe left to react.

And as I said many job lot type places have these cheaper all the time. A local CT/RI/MA/NY one [oceanstatejoblot.com] has 10 pairs (20 warmers) for $5 ($0.50/pair) - this deal is $0.66/pair.
