Downvoted because this is not a deal. Great product but 2 bucks for 3 pairs is the standard price.

I bought 20 pair of these off Amazon for my wife and I when we traveled through Scandinavia. They're amazing, when they work. Several bags did not get more than lukewarm once opened. Probably 4 out of the 20. They did do "something" once opened, so I doubt they were already used/punctured. They were not expired either. Just low QC I guess.

Just looked up my order. Oct 7, 2018 I paid $11.88 for 20 pair. [amazon.com] We used them December 2018.

Why not? FAR = Free After Rebate. They don't have a deal *right now* but I have indeed gotten them from the same place FAR previously.

You're paying for some metal and rocks.

...but still cool how these work. If you're interested in the science behind these.

Good product, but regular price. Both the 3-pack and the 10-pack are the same price every day at Walmart (with curbside pickup).

FYI, if you only use these for an hour or so at a time, you can extend their useful life by storing them in a tightly sealed ziplock bag after you're done. (By blocking fresh air, you are slowing the chemical reaction.) Then when you take them out and expose them to air the next day, they'll warm up again. Of course they don't last forever, but you should be able to get a few days out of them.

for neck pain, you could put some in wrap around your neck or if you have arthritis you could use this as well under your knee elastic brace or hand elastic brace
You're better off getting a reusable thing for $10 that goes into the microwave for a minute. The one I got has lasted years rather than single use.

Buying any hand warmer made for the U.S. market is like buying a Bic lighter instead of a flamethrower - just not the real thing and none really satisfy me on 0C/32F and colder days.

On the other hand, #1 & #2 are like thermal nuclear bombs when it comes to pocket heating.

Seriously long lasting heat (6+ hour at very warm). Cheap if you've got a Japanese Supermarket like Tokyo Central, gardena, ca nearby.

Seems to me we used to buy a great big box of these--- a "variety pack" including hand warmers and foot warmers--- at either Costco or BJ's Wholesale Club for a pretty good price. Wish I could remember what that was. Anyone have better recall of that deal than me?

My brother, who lives in S. FL saw a neighbor walking his dog in 60° temps while wearing a puffy jacket and mittens a week or so ago.

Edit

This is in the Naples area, so way south.

"I now realize what it's like to survive winter in Florida. Went to work today and got back and my neighbor was going for a walk in full winter coat, toboggan and gloves. FYI it was 68 degrees today...."

Their one year FL anniversary just occurred in January.
You sure he lives in Florida? In Florida no one notices unless you are walking your 10' alligator while wearing a tutu and bbqing a squirrel with a flamethrower.

He's a transplant from the Midwest and doesn't enjoy the heat. Plus his in-laws are over all the time to babysit. So I'm sure along with that and other things he had to compromise on, he notices a lot of things to be annoyed by or the weird only in FL stuff.

He couldn't have moved to TX or AZ? Florida? Florida is America's taint.

Wanted to move closer to her parents. They're closer to the older retired communities than the weirdos.
