Since always. In fact, computers today are cheaper than ever. Back in the 90s, you would easily spend $10K for a high end desktop PC.

The Apple II, released in 1977 cost $1,298 for the base configuration, which is around $5500 in today's money.

Working link.

I'd advise to spend the 10 bucks upgrading wifi module to Wi-Fi 6.

So, in my previous experience with HP, I've gotten an RTX 2080 with a blower style cooler, and it was atrocious. Had to upgrade to an Arctic Accelero IV to fix the temps, it was hitting max temp on medium loads (I bought the card second hand on Mercari). Not sure if the graphics card will have a blower cooler or not, just sharing my experience with them.

Why if you connect to Ethernet?
Uh...
1) If your PC is near your Wifi 6 modem, you WILL get speeds faster than wired giga speed Ethernet.
2) Future proofing is never a bad thing and one day you may want to use Wifi
3) It's $10 on a $2800 system

The real question is, why wouldn't you?
