Milwaukee M18 6.0 and 3.0 battery pack ~$117 clearance at the home depot YMMV

the local HD had the Milwaukee m18 6.0 and the 3.0 batteries on clearance the other day.

They have a promo going on with these batteries, and those batteries are in the same style packaging BUT the front will look a little bit different.

The first generation packaging they had where the 6.0 and 3.0s were packed together are on clearance at the home depot for about $117.

Seems like a good deal since everyone is always picking up the 2x 3.0s on special for $99.

Since it's a clearance item; YMMV

Maybe you can help everyone better understand better then. Genuinely asking. A hackable deal such as this [homedepot.com] gets you a free battery when you purchase the kit for $379. However the actual breakdown at checkout ends up being $272.05 for the kit and $106.95 for the battery so that both items together total $379.00. So the battery is effectively "free" but if you were to return the kit you would NOT keep the battery for free since you would only be refunded $272.05.

These are specialty high output as well so I don't think the $10/ah should strictly apply. These would be nice if you wanted the extra current/power you would get from a larger pack but didn't want the extra weight or need the extra run time.
