Is this considered a "deal" during the COVID-19 fitness equipment shortage or is this the going rate? I paid $107 for mine two years ago.

I picked it up thanks OP got the Powerblock dumbbells with the two expansion kits so this is great, to keep everything together.

It can't possibly be that hard to make something yourself with minimal tools and experience for way cheaper of a price tag

I'll go with the hack that one of the reviewers added to stabilize it. The folding version looks to be the better bet for sure.

did you get them recently? where did you find the stage 2? Exp stage 1 and 3 are still listed on amazon and go in stock once in a while, but stage 2 doesn't even seem to be listed anymore

The reviews related to the stability are concerning. If I were going to buy a stand I would rather go with something more like the backordered Titan Fitness one. It's cheaper and doesn't have a wobbly plastic base.

Set up keepa alerts for the large compact stand on Amazon. Pounce as soon as you get the alert for $69. I was finally able to get one last week using this process. The damn purchasing bots are making it hard to find high demand items at a normal price.

Over the course of the pandemic the dumbbells popped up first grabbed those and saw both expansions at a later date, with help from setting deal alerts on Slickdeals. Got to have fast fingers these bots are ridiculously fast 😆 best of luck deal alerts helped tremendously

Agree, the compact stand is the one to get. It may not look like much but it is sturdy, fits everything and half the price.
