I would say a bad thing. These are larger than iron plates. They are only 33lbs each but already appear to be big and can't add any more plates to it. 33lbs is not that much. Not sure about durability either. Concrete is brittle, iron is not. Accuracy might be an issue as well (e.g. getting incorrect weight for the whole dumbbell)
OP please add that this is a set of two 33 lb dumbbells, for a total of 66 lbs.
Bought these last month (the 105 pound version) and returned them. These dumbbells and plates are HUGE. Extremely bulky, and the plates have weird residue that constantly sheds and gets all over everything. Adjusting the weight and changing plates is a workout in itself (you have to spin the screw clamps/collars for several minutes).
For obvious reasons, there's no return shipping so you have to lug these into a Walmart to return them. Not worth the hassle.
Personally going to wait a few more months as the market continues to get over saturated with fitness gear and find a good set on sale.

Is that a good thing or bad thing?

I have a similar one (20lb x 2) bought from Walmart. It is fairly stupid. Too big and too difficult to switch weight. Core fitness is the best adjustable weights. I bought one now. 55lb x 2 adjustable for $230 or so.

I'd say it's between Ironmaster and Powerblocks. Each has their usefulness, but not just one is "definitely" the best.
Ironmaster sucks.. you need to remove the lock in either side and make changes. You cannot shift from a 15 lb to 30 lb quickly. The other one is too weird looking. Core fitness is the best value for money, easiest to switch weights.

Where is it $230?
Oh. Sorry. I said it wrong. It is 350. But if you buy as a combo with exercise chair, you can get $70 off + another $30 off using coupon COMBO30.

But, it is definitely the best adjustable dumbbell. Easy to adjust by twisting the handle.

That bench from the combo is not worth $200 IMO

Posted on SD recently has been a 40 pound set (20 x 2) for only $19. That's less than 50 cents a pound.
Yeah yeah, same concrete setup. but, hey, it's $19
