Yes, free upgrade when you put this disc in your PS5.

Yes, you have to put the disc in every time to play. No different than if you bought the PS5 disc version. Any disc game PS4 or PS5 will require you to put the disc in to play. Would have to buy the digital version to avoid that.

It's a fairly short game. It's good but used I wouldn't pay 30.

Agreed. My son was extremely dissatisfied with the length of the game compared to the original Spider-Man

Having just finished it, I'd say it's WELL worth $30.
Great game! Great Story! And just plain fun to play!
I've played much shorter games at full price.

If you're a spiderman fan grab this. It's a way shorter story than SM ps4 and it's essentially the same game with a awesome layer of Miles Spidey throughout. Although it was a short story, it was a decent one and the point of getting games early is to play them. If you can wait , then wait. But I like to play my games as they come out to avoid having a back log of games "that I bought later" and am no longer interested in after 6 months because new games have already come out.

I bought the PS5 Miles Morales disc version that included the original Spider-Man remaster on eBay for about $40. eBay was flooded with them from all the resellers that were trying to flip sealed copies they likely bought with bundles.

That version, the Miles Morales was on disc, but the Spider-Man remaster, was a digital only code in the box. I redeemed that code for the remaster, and put right back on eBay the game, disclosing of course that the remastered code was already used, and still got nearly $40 for Miles Morales itself. I did this, because I know in just a short amount of time, it is VERY likely there will be Miles Morales DLC, and eventually a GOTY version. Miles Morales is also a very short game from what I gather. I will wait it out until I can pick it up digitally for $10 or $15. I have a lot of back log and can afford to wait.

Overall, next gen has been fairly boring to be honest. For those that have had no luck getting a PS5 or Xbox Series X, you have not been missing much really, especially on the Xbox side of things. Don't succumb to the scalpers on eBay. It is not worth the price gouging.
