I was building my sons dresser and mis-read the instructions and went right through the top of the dresser with a screw that was too long. For some reason or another this totally defeated me. I felt like crap, my super pregnant wife was crying about it with the hormones and such.
I called Delta right then and there and spoke to support. I told them that I had busted through the top of the dresser and that I needed a replacement top ASAP. I would pay for it, and pay to overnight it. The dresser was for my soon to be new born son.
The lady says "sir calm down, we will overnight a new top to you free of charge, you worry about being a dad, we will worry about dresser tops".
And so there is my story of probably the most clutch customer service ever.
