Well if you want a modern 3000 RTX card, buying a prebuilt is really the only way to get one nowadays.

Sad face
It wasn't out of stock when I posted the response. In fact I added it to my cart to confirm right the second before I posted. It was in stock yesterday as well.

Seems like a good deal for some people who didn't get the Alienware deal for 1200. Actually slightly better specs and seems more user upgradable for the future.

Good deal considering the market right now, more expensive than the Alienware, but also as Legacy mentioned, much better for upgrading going forward

I think the Best Buy CyberPowerPC for $1450 might be the better buy. Almost the same specs. Differences I noted - the Skytech one has faster RAM at 3600MHz vs. 3000MHz on the CyberPowerPC. However, the CyberPowerPC has liquid cooling (vs. air cooling on this one). Also though it's not mentioned in the specs, I believe the CyberPowerPC has a 800W PSU (though I do think the 650W on this one should be sufficient, and in fact ideal).

The reason I think the CyberPowerPC is a better buy, is due to it having the liquid cooling. It's more of a pain to change the cooling unit later on, than to simply upgrade the RAM. Also, at least for gaming, the CPU and RAM are not going to be bottlenecks, so you might be okay with the lower speed RAM. Liquid cooling however is always preferred to keep temperatures lowered.

Ugh, where was this deal yesterday during the Alienware fiasco?! Would've considered paying $200 more for this one.

You can always cancel the Alienware purchase. They wouldn't have shipped it out yet.

Most people didn't consider this deal cause the cyberpowerpc was $50 less a few weeks ago and $100 less a few months ago. Comparatively, the Alienware deal is also ok, but nothing special. Just that it's amongst the lowest MSRP for an RTX 3070 system. so it became popular. I honestly think Dell will give the $1230 price any day all day when calling. Compared to that deal the storage upgrade itself on the Cyberpowerpc is worth $100. Plus the liquid cooler (if you couldn't get the upgrade includes in the $1230), and lacking proprietary parts make the Best Buy deal also just as appealing in my opinion. Will be much easier to upgrade down the line.

I got the Alienware deal for myself with free liquid cooling for $1230. I got my daughter the the cyberpower rtx 360 ti for 1249$ then 50 best buy rewards making it $1200 wish I would of bought to of them. Case looks better. It's more upgradable. Than the Alienware. I'll do user bench mark and send Alienware back if it doesn't bench as well.

FYI - 3060Ti is similar in performance to 3070 just 5% difference. So this deal is ok compared to $1299 XPS deal (3060ti) or $1249 Alienware (3060ti)
