Garmin is about to introduce a bunch of watches next week and the Fenix 5 series will not be getting their connect IQ 4 which is what all the apps and widgets use for advanced features.
Also pulse ox at the wrist is garbage and the numbers are meaningless.
Fenix 7 and 955, LTE etc are coming but they will be twice if not three times the price
Fenix 5 does use the older GPS chip though, all the new sony gps chips are messed up so that might be a plus.
