Great watch. I wear it everyday when i grabbed this for $70 off of GPS Nation. Has almost all the basic functions you could ever ask for. Only thing left wanting is music storage, but certainly not a deal breaker.

I have had the Vivoactive 3 Music for several years. I like the watch very much, but I love the Music feature. I am able to load music, podcasts and audiobooks on the watch very easily from my PC and don't have to carry my phone with me when I am walking in a nearby park.

It is the best hybrid smart watch I have had. I also like the Garmin app for tracking my steps and other things. However, a few like flights of stairs walked, are inaccurate.

I have this watch and I absolutely love it.

One caveat - You may need to switch out the band - I personally was having an allergic reaction to the stock band (never happened with any other smart band or watch). Plenty of alternative bands on Amazon, read the comments to see if the band you are looking at resolved the problem. it's fairly common.

Sweet, just got it at best buy for the $50 amex credit. Vivosmart 3 just died (backlighting failure, happened to two in 1.5 years!)

This is a great watch - have had it for several months now - tried Apple Watch, Forerunner 735 XT and find myself coming back to this. Its perfect size, good capabilities and good screen.

I got the refurb from GPS Nation also and didn't buy the extended warranty. Nothing has broken, so I don't feel too regretful. I switched back to Android from iOS, so I sold my Apple Watch 3, and I'm happy. The battery life is better, and I feel like I'm wearing a traditional watch (preference). It seems accurate with most things, except it says I only get about 30 minutes of deep sleep per night. I think I'd be dead if that were the case. I only intended this to last me about 2 years, and I'm halfway there. I purchased a tempered glass screen protector (pack of 3 on Amazon for about $7), and it fit perfectly. I will definitely consider Garmin when I'm ready to buy a nicer, newer model.

I have the VA3 and VA4. The VA3 has delayed notifications of several seconds or more which irritated me. Messages with emoji or pictures wouldn't notify at all on the 3. These issues for me were fixed with the 4, it's much snappier as a smartwatch so if that's a large part of your usage case scenario be aware.

Also, the 4 has all black background with white text for notifications vs the 3 which has much more white background with black text.

Another quality of life improvement on the 4 is the ability to place brightness on left slide shortcut. In this way you can turn off backlight during the day and back on at night easily and conserve battery. Not available on the 3.

Just info to help people decide which watch to look at.
