can I buy the stylo and give it to my daughter but use the service in my unlocked phone? Does cricket care if I use the service for 6 months in their phone or mine as long as it's being paid for? Will they still unlock the stylo in 6 months? Does any of this affect my credit? I'm sorta new to all this.

Cricket doesn't care which phone you use the SIM with. I bought a total of six Stylo 6s (bought one, then five more). I've sold all of the phones. I'm using the SIM from the first order in an unlocked Moto E6. I paid $60/month then logged in and Changed Plan to two $30/month, no problems with the credit.

I don't know whether or not Cricket will unlock the Stylo after 6 months when the SIM is used in your phone.

active cricket sim needs to be used in the stylo 6 for it to unlock in 6 months.

You can stop any time you want. In fact, you don't even have to activate the phone if you don't want to. The only downside is that the phone remains locked.

This is prepaid phone service - no credit check, and it won't affect your credit score in any way. You don't pay, you don't get service.

Shouldn't matter which phone you put the SIM card in, as long as the phone is compatible with Cricket. The SIM card will be in the Stylo box though, so you'll have to break the seal to get to it.

Thanks for the help. One last thing anyone know if cricket would give me issues porting my number to a different carrier after the 2-4 months if I switch? I might end up liking them and not messing with it but curious.

Shouldn't be a problem. I've ported out a number that were on cricket for only about a couple of weeks.

Placed order, at what point do I(or can I) change the plan from $60 a month to $30 a month, to get 4 months instead of 2. I don't need even close to the data the $60 offers. Thanks
