Battery lasts about 3 days for me and I wear it over night. Toss it on the charger when I'm showering every couple says and it's good for another couple days. But full to 0 is about 3 days.

I really like mine. Use it for pretty much everything you use one of these for. Notifications, exercising, etc.

Nothing compares to Apple watches but if you prefer android phones, this is a pretty good watch.
This is a fantastic watch if you just want notifications. Very solid connection and looks great and simple. I'm still using the Active 1, and it's easy to throw a protector on it and use it for work. Very durable, not a lot of places where dirt can wreck it.

Not a fan of the apps or Bixby, but I've had trouble with Wear OS watches in the past, so Samsung it is. Wear OS watches are not reliable, in hardware or software.
You could have just bought a new one and sent them back the broken one since they gave you the run around. You could have also used return protect on your credit card or filed a dispute. Many options

I just had the Active 1 crap out on me after 1.5 years due to water damage. Mind you, I was super careful with this thing and never submerged it, only water that hit it was from showering.

It's a good enough watch but only comes with a year warranty so I wouldn't expect it to last much longer than that.
They tell you not to shower with it (the soap can damage it). Mine is nearly 2 years old and I swim with it in both the pool and the ocean and it's great!

Great deal. I've had no issues with mine. The battery life is impressive too.

ECG works, bp works. You have to do a workaround to get it to install on non-samsung phones but once that's done it works fine.

Once a month or so you'll have to do a check against a cuff for bp accuracy but that's not a big deal.
Is this workaround difficult to do? I have a OnePlus but this seems like a great deal. Is your ECG and heartbeat data private? I am brand new to this and just starting my journey of research.

I have the LTE Samsung watch 3 that I got from the woot deal. It's bigger than I'd like and I don't use the cellular. Thinking of downgrading. Do these active 2s have the same operating system?

Did you wear the watch while showering? May be water resistant but you are taking a big chance.

Believe so. They all run the Tizen OS.

Whats the difference between this and Active 1? Is it worth the ~$100 upgrade from the Samsung Active 1 deal posted a couple of days back?

You don't have to be tech savvy, but you do need to understand where you download things on your laptop, how to move things around and unzip things. It can get pretty tricky and confusing. It took me about 4 hours to do but many tech savvy people said they did it in less than 30. I have it paired to my lg v60.

Pretty solid deal. Makes me wonder if I should use my $200 s21 preorder credit on something else. Was going to buy a watch there...

I used Google Assistant to set up alarms for my lunch break or just reminders throughout the day. Fossil sport as laggy as it was at times, would still get the job done. Bixby will take forever to open, and will not get 1 word i said correctly. To set up a reminder, and to text. Wish i read how bad it was before buying. Battery will last new 2 and a half days no problem. Fossil sport i was lucky to get almost 2 days with less features activated than the active 2.
there is an app on the galaxy store called g assist. it's supposed to be a google assistant on the watch (unofficial of course)

Do you happen to have a link to the website to do this? Google doesnt seem to be my friend in this case. Are the HR and ecg functions only innately functioning on samsung phones? The description seems to indicate that the functions working all android phones. Thanks in advance.

I broke my active ones corner glass on a rock and put clear sealant over it and it still works in the pool and shower daily. Honestly it's as durable if not more than my old blaze

Fantastic watch, I've had it for about a year now. Very nice activity tracking for basic activity/workouts (I don't use it for intervals or anything intense). Very durable, and water runs right off it, I've used it swimming a bunch.

Just to confirm, this does not have blood pressure or ECG capabilities - right?
ECG capabilities is officially supported in the US. BP is not but you can download a modify app to enable it. It's supported almost everywhere else but the US. Something about needing FDA approval first.
