I agree with just using an adapter but some people prefer to have a wrench in each size available without the need for adapters. Had that discussion on previous post. Around Xmas the 3 tool set with batteries and charger (included the 3/8") was $199 at HD. With the LSA that set was slick. I'd wait for that deal to become avail if your in the market for the 3/8".

This is why i like 18v compact tools over 12v tools. The type of power increase you can get jus from a battery is more significant but can still run the smaller batteries most of the time. Same YouTubeer did this test with compact battery and got 325 i think. With 12v you pretty much wanna use the bigger batteries cuz the compacts arent going to last very long at giving you good power. Dewalt jus announced a nice 12v impact with 400 nut busting torque but i really want them to make it in 20v atomic version. Same tool at 18v will still be more powerful especially with bigger battery. Jus like at an m18 vs m12 stubby test from that YouTubeer
