Asking if someone knows the following...

I bought a used like new S10+ on ebay about 2 years ago. I recall I couldn't unlock the phone because the phone came up as "active on another account". I asked the seller and he said he would contact att to do it. Well let's say time passed and I forgot about it.

All these 2 years...phone works great on my personal att account. Only issue is I cannot unlock it. It's possible the original eBay person still has it on his account for whatever reason.

Now let's say I send this phone that works and has a clean imei number (checked via swappa) to samsung as a trade in.

Will they decline my phone even if it works, it's mint (has been in case and screen protector day1 and it was mint from original ebay person) yet cannot be manually unlocked via the att portal?

Please advice SD folks. I'm sad that I won't be able to trade mine in now and I've been waiting for this note 20 ultra deal for weeks. Frown

I got a phone from my dad that I let my kid use and when I went to unlock it. It said it was still on another account(I was on red pocket at the time and it was an AT&T locked phone). Anyways I just popped the sim card out and did the request and it allowed it to go through but only after I put the sim in another phone first. Their system tracks this crap so I would say if you haven't tried it then do that.

The trade in value is boosted bro. Like where can you sell your used s10e for $550?
Apart from cashback like Rak10 for 10% back and Chase freedom for another 5% back, you can also get the Galaxy buds pro and the Galaxy watch active 2 for only $75 with the $150 accessories credit. Resale value for both is like about $300
It's definitely an awesome deal if you are smart and do everything right
How can you get each for 75 each..please explain thanks

What fool loses or breaks their phone the second they get it? A $400 phone will last you a good 3 years.
