I original quote was for the user who wanted the Ace 5g. I offer to say Nord 10 5g as an alternative. I'm not sure what you have against it. I offer my opinion as I have used and am using all these phones in which I mention to own.
Compare to the Moto G Power for $49, yeah that will be a better deal.
I said the phone lags. I didn't say the Moto X4 can outperform the Moto G Power, Stylus. There is more to a phone than just the processor. Software also matters. How it manages memory matters. Etc. It lags. It lags even after factory reset. I have all these phones in front of me.

They are not gonna allow N100 for Ace. I doubt if they even let you return/exchange just 2 phones. But do let us know how it goes.
Fi phones are unlock from the get go so no worry about it being a useless phone.

Oh, the Fi phone might be unlocked immediately, but you still have to keep it on the Fi Network for 60 days, so, essentially it's locked for that time is how I look at it.
Since I got the N100 on a added line, I would think they might be willing to do the Ace bc that would require a port in, which would satisfy the current two "good" phone limit, whereas now I'm not fulfilling it. (Sorry if I'm slow lol and thanks for your help!)

I won't mess around switching sim card into the power though. Don't even mess around with the $200 off promotion..... I made sure I fulfilled all the steps so I wouldn't get screwed over when I did the $49 moto g power in November.

I've pretty much determined I'm not going to risk the Ace at Metro, the Power deal with Fi is so good and a for sure, quicker deal, with a proven winning model.

I think you are misunderstand me. No one here is comparing the N10 to the Nord but YOU. The Nord may be a better phone then the N10, probably. I have no idea. I don't have the Nord so I can't make the comparison nor do I have an opinion of it. I am only offering my opinion of the phones I have experience with. You are basically arguing for a position you put yourself into. The user I am quoting list the 2 phones he/she is interested in and I offer an opinion to an alternative N10 in the same price range. If you want to recommend to the user the Nord go right ahead and please compare it to the phone he is considering.
But if I'm reading this correctly you don't have any experience with the Nord or N10. Seems pretty shaky to recommend a phone (Nord) that is not made for the US market or for sale in the US market especially since you have no experience with them. On top that their 5g bands are for European and India market depending on the model you choose.
I'm not sure why you have a problem with me comparing the lag of Moto G ePower with an older Moto X4. Being newer than the Moto X4 and in the same class I would expect the Moto G Power not to lag when compare to its predecessor. Same as you would expect the Oneplus 8 not to lag when compare to its predecessor OnePlus 7 (if the 7 didn't have any lag).

A user previously posted about an unlock code for the Metro phone for cheap but I sincerely doubt it. I haven't heard of anybody having success in unlocking recent Metro phones unless done via hacking phone with PC.
Good call on the Power deal. That would be my pick if I wanted a phone that is actually usable immediately.
Pay for month 1 and 2, then get $49 service credit. Use it for month 3 and 4. or leave and forget about it the credit?
