Somehow cheaper than the bluetooth one with. I don't want lte
I have the LTE version and the battery life is good. I just charge it when I go to bed at night. Lasts easily a full day with tons of notifications and such. I believe there are some benefits with the LTE version, I forget, even if you don't enable it on a mobile plan. Offline Spotify works well w/ a premium account, GPS tracking, etc.
Has anyone managed to apply ecertificate from galaxy a71 purchase?
Was wondering this as well. I can't get either of the $50 codes I received to work on anything. Guess I'll get back and read through those A71 threads. Maybe someone posted there with some insight into it.

I checked with samsung and they said the code expired in Jan 31st despite saying expiry in March.

We can just use it as Bluetooth paired right without mobile plan?

Yes. When I'm at home, it's connected to my phone or Wifi for notifications (txt, emails, whatsapp, etc.). When I'm on the go, my phone is usually in my pocket, so it works too. For the times I go for a bike ride or run (and I don't want to carry my phone), you can still track your exercise, listen to pre-downloaded music (media player, Spotify Premium). They also recently (late 2020) released the app to measure ECG, if that's important to you.
Bonus, there's a subreddit with plenty of free "premium" watch faces.

Is this esim or sim card? Can it have own phone number separate from phone?

The fuq?! And there was no recourse? They basically told you to go pound sand or did you push them on the issue?
EDIT: Read some of the comments at the end of the A71 thread from where we got the $50 Samsung certificates. People in the first week of January were already stating the codes wouldn't apply to anything. Sure seems like the expired excuse customer support gave you is complete BS.
