This all work fine even with the S21 preorder codes, but then I be loosing the smart tag if I go this route. How can get this be done with Samsung app, where the smart tag is automatically add in the cart for free.
Was looking at this deal, but noticed that Sprint offers the 40mm LTE version for free after adding a line and 24 monthly credits. At $10/month, if your on Sprint/TMobile, this deal doesn't make sense unless you don't actually want to use the LTE. Unfortunately the 44mm is OOS.

deleted. found out not compatible on Total Wireless Plans or any Tracfone services
I am sure LTE model can be used as BT model, meaning watch can be paired with Smart phone using BT and WiFi (for network instead of LTE). But if you want to use watch on any carrier network, it's good to check with them. I bought Galaxy watch BT Model other day to use with phone/WiFi. Edit: Also I read rumors that Samsung is ditching Tizen OS for Android/Wear OS, need to wait and see if they are ditching or adding them to their portfolio
