Nice laptop, but hate the $100 MIR part since it is a gift card and you still have to pay sales tax on the pre-rebate price.

Price has been reduced to $899. Now this is a super good deal. You're getting premium build quality, 100% sRGB 144 Hz panel with 3ms response time, 1TB NVMe SSD, 16GB Ram and RX 5600M which offers similar performance like a RTX 2060 (around 5% less). This model has better thermal solutions than both TUF A15 and Dell G5 SE.

10% off promo does make this a great deal. If it was 17.3" I'd definitely go for it. You should update the title. It's really $799 AR, yes?

1660 Ti is a better equivalence. A quick search indicates that undervolting and overclocking a 5600m might be iffy.

Annoying but DP1.2 should be able to do HDMI2.0 4k60 with a converter cable. Still, tired of seeing HDMI1.4 at all these days, its inadequate.
Specs are Good overall though if you dont care about the nvidia/RTX features a 2060 offers. I wouldnt ever need them on a laptop.
Thinking about pulling the trigger here. Id like a AMD+3060 but with the mining craze its going to be a long time before we see sub $1000 laptops with that.

This is a killer deal. Anyone happen to know if the USBC port supports PD and Alt Mode? (Manufacturers are still terrible about documenting these features)
