We have one similar, no clue where my wife got it from, but it does it's job. Both of our boys have used it for changing and no issues.
I was thinking the same. Might not be worth it since the summer one we used for years in the past is $20. Never had smell or quality issues with that one.

Ya, that happens unfortunately, lol. We put a "waterproof" cover on top of the summer one I posted above and a decorative cover on top of that. Both helped a little, but you'll still get the stains over time. 🤷🏻 ♀️
And we actually had that linked Amazon Summer pad. Worked great for 2 kids. It was just so more convenient than a dedicated changing table. Just throw it on the bed, coffee table, use it on the floor, take it with you on car trips...
Under pads - disposable absorbent pads can be used on their own as well - if your kids are kinda staying in place without the pad
