Nice try at trolling. I won a pair of AirPod Max. Amazing headphones and seamless to use, I love them. They sound good but compared to my modded monoprice M1060, they can't sustain the fight especially for precision. This headphone is in another league that my cheap monoprice so I seriously doubt the AirPod max has a chance. The only way it would win is if you like the AirPod sound signature and overlook pure performance

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

These are better built than the v1. I had the v1 and sent mine in because the headband adjustment went bad. They gave me the v2 as a replacement. V1s were more comfortable though.

Uggggghhh... after my introduction to planar magnetic headphones via the Audeze Mobius... I'm seriously considering these. ARGH.

Is open back preferred for planar magnetic? The Mobius are closed back. I'm new to the world of planars...

These are in a totally different class compared to the Mobius. Make sure you can drive them though. They need a lot of power.

Includes a pretty basic cable that terminates in a 4pin XLR and an adapter to 1/4" stereo plug.

Open back is generally better (sound quality wise) for all over the ear headphones. Planar is no different.

Obviously it has the usual downsides as well.

Actually, you should really research this because it's kind of a "high maintenance" headphone.

It's at that price frequently as well.

I'm seeing $699, not $649. Typo or dead?

Edit: had to refresh, new price showed up
