On the surface they are the same specs but if you dig deeper. This one has the LG Nano panel which is equal to Samsung QLED or Quantum Dot tech which makes colors more Vibrant. And is GSYNC Certified
I own one and it's the one to get prices have gone way up from $399 when I got it last year. Better stand too and tilts swivels and rotates.

S2721DGF went below $400 before with CBs, or if you use a mail list code. MSI MAG274QRF-QD is $389 rn at NE but seems sold out, deal was out 2 days ago tho. These are 2 very best 27" 1440p high refresh rate gaming monitors. Point is if you are spending $400+, get one of these or the LG 27GL/GN850
