I got this awhile ago but returned it. The color and text look nice for productivity. But it s too big, you need to sit far away or your eyes wont cover it. You have to turn your head around which made me very tired.

I started using a spare bottom-shelf samsung 40" uhd tv as a monitor and loved it. However, I did end up creating a browser shortcut to minimize a window to about 50% of the screen centered at the bottom to use when I was getting tired of the neck swivel. I even got used to the 30hz refresh rate, but it switched back to fhd and 60hz one day, so I see what I've been missing and have been looking for a proper monitor like this. Good timing.

Identical experience and situation.

I bought this at Best Buy earlier today for $599 and having it shipped so this is a good price. I am debating sticking with the Best Buy order because I can easily return it in store if needed. I am really not sure about the size is my issue.

Any experience with Buy Digs returns on such a large monitor especially if purchased from Ebay?

I emailed them on their website and asked about returns on items that are not damaged/dead on arrival. They don't charge return/restocking fees but you do have to pay for the return shipping. Not sure about ordering through their eBay site though.

On the other hand, I got this for productivity as well as occasional movie watching. The size makes for great productivity. Love it, best monitor I've used, even more than my 30" Apple Cinema Display. At a good distance away and coupled with an LED light bar, it's wonderful.

I did the same, but later realized 30 Hz issue was due to my laptop HDMI port being 1.4. Since I had a Thunderbolt port, I bought a converter with HDMI 2.0 and I have been enjoying 4K 60 Hz since then.

I would love to get a bigger screen as my eyesight is detoriating (using reading glasses now). I heavily make use of Windows+Arrow keys to move apps to only occupy half or quarter of the screen.

I've been using a 49" sony ips tv as a monitor for the past 3 years and it just died this morning ( status led blinks red 6 times ) . I wanted to get a real monitor with display port and anti-glare screen but after looking at all the ~$500 options and the amazon reviews about fuzzy text on this 43UN700T-B I decided to just go for a 43UN7300 tv for $310 from costco. It might be slightly behind the sony in terms of picture quality and I don't have any hopes of getting accurate colors but after an hour messing with all of the settings its looking OK.

I just got this monitor and I think it is pretty good. It is for sure a personal preference on size and usability. Text is more blurry on a white background and vs using dark mode. I have noticed in the 1.5 hours of testing my eyes do hurt but I am using it at 4K resolution. Overall the distance between bottom left corner and top right corner are a strain on the eyes. I probably will return it due to the eye strain and go more traditional.

I will say it is heavy and with the stand it's really heavy. All the inputs are great, PbP and PiP I tried and I think are over rated unless there is a specific need.
