so I don't have to wait for iron to cool down completely each time. It's not very consistent with temperature IMO but for $12 I paid can't complain much, if I really wanted probably could have found much better option for $25-30 though.
Recently I'm finding that I use my Milwaukee M12 cordless one the most though (also got Hakko tips on it) if I'm not soldering inside the house. It's not the most compact one but I don't have to deal with power cord or electrical source to run which makes it very convenient for wiring on cars and boats I tried so far.
