Word to the wise with bonded leather, once it starts cracking, it won't stop. It may be a year or two, but it'll be a thorn in your side to clean up all the cracked bits.

True story. We have some "bonded leather" chairs at work that completely crack apart.
My personal experience: I would never buy bonded leather!
To me, it's a waste of money, and a waste of resources. The furniture becomes ends up in trash after a couple of years or so, can't even donate it to anyone!
Peeled leather everywhere, the underlying material's color seeps over to anything you put over. Just a disaster!
Never again. I have similar bonded leather chair. Fell apart in a couple of years and now it drops crap all over the place. All the time. I'm cheap so haven't replaced it yet. First need find a way to get rid of this one.

Call the manufacturer and they will send you new parts to replace it. Unfortunately you will need to take the chair apart.
Bonded leather is a mistake you should never make.
Thing is, no one really wants to pay 800+ for a real leather chair. No office does either, they would buy 8 bonded leather chairs over one executive real leather chair. The only thing bonded leather chairs and cloth chairs are good for in Offices, is a spot near the loading dock trash compactor after 1-2 years of use lol. Have you had any luck with the Genuine Leather with Leatherette Match chairs? I think I am going to try one of those for my next chair.
