Pretty shitty this year, no microsd card, only 1080p screen, no mst for samsung pay, nothing in the box like the akg earphones or the 25w fast charger. Doesn't matter what the big tech review sites say camera is definitely not a major upgrade over S20 Samsung must be paying a lot for the rave reviews to push the phone. Battery life is still pretty bad.

I got the phone and honestly didn't feel much of an upgrade over the s20 i traded in.

These were the some distinct advantages of chosing a Samsung over other phones but now they have taken away all that

At this rate a pixel 5 or even an iphone 12 is a better choice in my opinion. Both of those don't suffer from the terrible battery life that you get on samsung!

For those that don't know, Samsung removed the MicroSD card slot. Greed is literally the only reason for this move. Force people to buy the larger storage versions.

Fyi, I bought the s21 Ultra for Verizon and 5g is much slower than 4g LTE in the Bay Area. When I'm connected to LTE I can get up to 50Mbps to 80Mbps, but with 5g I'm lucky to get 20Mbps and 5g definitely loads webpages more slowly. I haven't been able to figure out how to turn off 5g. I think in going to return this phone.

You should call Verizon. They can probably fix it for u in the back end. You also need to use the 5G sim card if you haven't already done so.

I was also hesitating on this. But just let you know if you don't mind you can find a quality USB to audio jack adapter at ~ $10. I will need to test on this by myself when I get the phone, but based on reviewers it should be pretty good.

You're price matching to Best Buy or Amazon, assuming you're buying an unlocked phone. Bring up the chat and tell them you want to price match the phone, and then be prepared to send them a link to the competitor's price and/or a screen shot. When I chatted with them, I sent them a link, and then they asked for a screen shot. IDK why.

I don't think they will apply promo codes after you've ordered. They will advise you to refuse or cancel the order and re-order. Seems inefficient, but whatever.

Thanks for info, I ended up w VZW model for some reason. I think when I ordered it was cheaper than unlocked.
