Pretty shitty this year, no microsd card, only 1080p screen, no mst for samsung pay, nothing in the box like the akg earphones or the 25w fast charger. Doesn't matter what the big tech review sites say camera is definitely not a major upgrade over S20 Samsung must be paying a lot for the rave reviews to push the phone. Battery life is still pretty bad.

I got the phone and honestly didn't feel much of an upgrade over the s20 i traded in.

These were the some distinct advantages of chosing a Samsung over other phones but now they have taken away all that

At this rate a pixel 5 or even an iphone 12 is a better choice in my opinion. Both of those don't suffer from the terrible battery life that you get on samsung!

Better price after price matching, EDU/EPP discount, bundle discount, accessories credit, referral discount, etc. Many people bundle the phone with other items such as the Tab S7/S7+, Watch, case, etc. for the bundle discount. You could potentially get the phone for free if you have the time to sell the right bundled items.

I'm very happy with the ultra. But question: i had the education discount but once I added a referral code from reddit it took away the education discount. Also wasn't sure how to get the cancellation discount on the pre-order since there was no cancellation button for the phone and trying to reach customer service during the pre-order period involved a 2 hour wait.

Finally what are the best items to get with the bundle program to make the phone free next time ? Tablets ?

Why even retail price it at high $ value when the phones go on sale from day 1 and nobody pays original price for it? Just seems like desperate marketing with constant sales (don't tell me it's Amazon and B&H doing the sale, companies can put embargo to not bring the price below $X if they want to).
