Thanks, OP. Got the offer on my Amex and my wife's Amex. Dell lets you split payment among two or more cards, so I was able to redeem both credits on a single ultrawide monitor.

Ordered the AW3821DW for $1424.99 - 142.49 (10% newsletter coupon) - $55.53 (4% CB) - $100 credit - $100 credit = $1,026.97 plus tax. Slick deal!

Took about 30 minutes for my code to arrive, but they did not send one to my existing Dell account email, had to use a different email. That code did work on my regular account.

Also, the Amex approval came right away! The email subject was:
Great news! You just used your Amex Offer for $100.00 cash back at DELL US COMPUTER SALES

I didn't get Amex offer email confirmation despite having offer added to my card and spending more than $500. Pending Amex charge shows as: DELL MARKETING,L.P.#17

Not DELL US COMPUTER SALES. Hopefully the Amex offer triggers.

It's been a few days, can you check your amex offers and see if it's posted? I just had the same thing happen to me. Dell chat helped me and did the charge so it posted as DELLMARKING,L.P.#17 as well. I spoke with AMEX who said to wait til the charge posts and then contact them to see if it's coded correctly. If your PAYMENT posted but the amex offer "savings" tab doesn't show up. I would contact dell to make sure it's coded since you might still have time to cancel your order.

Just checked, the pending charges have disappeared... no longer pending and hasn't posted. My laptop shows as in production with a ship date early next week. Guess it's free. After past dealings with Dell, I don't have the most confidence in them. I would absolutely not place an order from them anywhere near the AMEX offer expiration date, Fortunately there is still plenty of time.

yep same here. coming from a huge hospital on the IT side. XPS we phased out because people were having too many issues. lattitude also is junk although my lattitude did better than the XPS. i ended up just buying my own personal laptop and use that as my work laptop.

I just placed an order for a XPS deal. My pending charge on AMX had the same DELLMARKING,L.P.#7 but I received an email immediately from AMEX that I redeemed the offer at DELL.COM for $100. The pending charge drops off as they test your account, doesn't charge until it ships or just before (pending drops off 1-3 days depending on card)

Gonna use this on the S2721DGF that just went on sale for $429.99. Not the lowest historical price but with this offer it makes it a great deal.

I received my credit with no issues. Posted pretty quickly once Dell actually charged by card.
