Aluminum "tablet" stands are a little more than that, but yea usually half the price on ebay if you can wait.

Not really comparable, I think. The eBay product looks narrow and smaller since it is made for phone. It has two rotating joints similar to a stand that I have. If they work about the same then the product on eBay will not hold the weight of the tablet with a decent case. It will probably tip over.

These things are nice but always go limp and can't stand upright after a few months. Not worth $10 considering how long they will last.

Similar experience with ones like this that has articulating parts, last a month or so for my family... went with a fixed one instead and has been using it for the last 7 years Smilie

I almost bought something like this but had the concern it would go limp over time (i.e. hinge loosening). I ended up purchasing one with a kick-stand to mitigate this concern. It's about the same price.
