Not a huge sale price but the HomePod Mini hasn't really gone on sale. This is about the lowest price I've seen.

I have two and love them, adds really clear sounding music at a reasonable price and easy setup. I have two full size HomePods setup in stereo for my living room AppleTV, enjoy the simple setup and feeling the sounds from my movies.

Does Costco normally charge shipping for items above $50?

Sorry, if this is a dumb question...I am new to Costco - literally just bought a membership yesterday. I assumed most places had free shipping with minimum purchases in 2021.

It depends on the item but it's not abnormal for there to be shipping charges for Costco online.

Sometimes says "I'm having trouble ..."

It's been becoming more frequent

Love HomePod! But at 94.99 plus 2.99 Shipping this is exactly $1.02 less than the $99.00 flat price buying from Apple directly with free shipping

Note you could use Rak-u-ten or e-bate-s to get 2% back on Apple purchases, the same as you could get 2% back as a Costco executive member, so that 2% really isn't a factor, and very minimal at that.

I don't think $1.02 savings is slickdeal worthy. I guess Costco has a more generous return policy and That might be the only reason to buy there.

I bought 6 open box for $79-84 from Best Buy after buyer remorse set in. I love them. Great sounding little speaking in the bedrooms and 2 in the home gym for stereo sound.

I agree with you, similar experience.

I'd really only recommend a HomePod or HomePod Mini to someone who is invested in the Apple ecosystem - e.g. Apple Music, iphone, Macbook, etc...

Buy an Apple store card from Target. Currently $10 gift card back if you buy $100 plus 5% back comes to $95.50. Buy Homepod Mini from Apple directly using balance on your Apple store card. It's like getting Homepod mini for $85 plus taxes.

Are the Costco B&M stores stocking these? And, if so, for both colors?

Replying to my own last reply...

My local Costco just recently started stocking these in-store, but only in Space Gray which sucks, because I think I'll want most/all of mine in white.

I really am hoping that Apple will come out with a model with a small display, though, soon, because without a display it will be a poor replacement for the Echo Spot/Show device I currently use in my kitchen and frequently use for setting multiple kitchen timers. I know that these HomePod mini's support multiple timers, but I like to be able to glance over to see how much time is left on my timers and not have to talk to it to find out.
