"Can not", should probably read "should not" or "reduced range". This is going to be true for any Bluetooth dongle. They are going to be susceptible to interference from other devices especially those that use higher bandwidth (which by nature will radiate more at higher frequencies closer to the RF frequency of the Bluetooth dongle).

Anyone who has used a Bluetooth dongle likely knows that they perform better on a pigtail cable pulled away from other devices and the computer chassis.

This company is just being upfront about it and they should be lauded not criticized for that.

Just organized my boxes of wires and found 4 of these, so I don't need this. I'll wait another year until I forget about them again before buying another. I'm sure I'll eventually have a full set of 32 blueteeth.

Yep this is why most computers still have a few usb 2.0


High freq interference from usb 3 for audio etc is a thing

have only bad experience with these kinds of dongles, except for ASUS's that uses a better radio that I broke by trying to mod it, but... $6 and free returns, why not.
