Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard is built on advanced ergonomic principles, with a split keyboard layout that keeps wrists and forearms in a relaxed position, and a cushioned palm rest that protects against inflammation and repetitive stress injuries. Currently using this with my makeshift WFH setup. I initially bought it for my wife three years ago, but she experienced the "sticky key issue" that has plagued this keyboard, so it was collecting dust for two years. I hooked it up to my ThinkPad dock, and I also got the sticky key issue. I believe I used the FilterKeys fix, and it's been smooth going ever since.
I've been using this for years - at home and at work. With their sculpt mouse too.
I honestly don't like chiclet type keyboards (this, macs, etc) but no nice mech keyboards come in ergo style. So given the alternatives these have served me really well for at least 5 years now home+work without any real issues.
CONS: Prefer mechanical keys. Like the sculpt mouse too - not in this bundle. Range of receiver isn't impressive.
PROS: Ergo. Don't underestimate the benefit of the narrow width without the key pad. It's much more comfortable for day to day ergonomics to not have to reach 4-6" out wider to the right for your mouse pad. Unless you're data entry #'s all day, - even as a developer - learn to type and ditch the number pad.
using this keyboard right now with their mouse. Highly recommend this set. It's the best keyboard and mouse Ive ever used. Once you have gone ergonomics, you dont want to go back to using the "regular" stuff.

I have been using a Microsoft Natural 4000 for many years. Anybody switch to the sculpt from that? If so, how is it compared to the 4000? I have been debating getting one for quite a while now.
Thoughts on the mouse combo? I have a decent Logitech mouse but also don't really want to deal with 2 separate USB receivers
Works fine on Mac except the mouse side button - no msft software for the kit as far as I can tell. Keyboard works and is mappable, mouse left / right / scroll works, but can't map (or use) the side button.

The keys are way less travel than the previous gen but I kind of like it now.

Microsoft mouse is heavier than logitech mouse. It takes a toll on the wrist after a while. The keyboard i got had the sticky keys where it types multiple letters even though i only press once. Returned them...
