OP - couple of suggestions for updates to your post:
  • You can remove the YMMV and indicate that the deal will work if you change the location to N. Virginia-DC-Baltimore or whatever location you are at. Anyone can change their location to get the deal
  • Amazon is advertising this at 33% off with the current price of $450 for black and $385 for white
  • The Amazon link to the product with more info and reviews is https://www.amazon.com/Vitamix-Bl...B008H4SLV6
  • It's a Treasure Truck deal, so will probably expire overnight

Pretty good. Got it for $10 cheaper in September directly from Vitamix and that was a great deal. My wife uses it multiple times a week.

Not sure why this is considered as a hot deal.

If you have Sam's Club membership (which you can get it for free with $45 back deal), buy 5300 for the same price ($300). (Also, if you have Chase freedom card, you can get %5 cashback on wholesale market shopping)

5300 has 0.2 more horse power and wider blade.

According to the camel, regular price is around $400. It's been at this price briefly a few times in the past. It was down to $259 one time. I'll try to link the camel graph here [urlhasbeenblocked].

EDIT: It won't let me link Go to camel^3 and put product B008H4SLV6

They have a truck in certain cities and they used to travel around with sometimes a good deal. Some deals were not worthwhile. It was hit or miss, but with Covid, no more trucks, so its virtual. They also sometimes pop up in Wholefoods since they own them now too!
