Looks similar to the Gold's Gym XRS 20 that I bought in 2015 for $150, https://www.walmart.com/ip/Gold-s...ge/5280822

I comment this every time a deal on one of these shows up but the height of the bench is taller than typical benches so if you're on the shorter side (I'm 6'), you might have issues with leg drive while doing bench presses. The bench height in this set is ~21", typical height is ~18"

It's better than what you have now, which is probably nothing. If you use it for 30 days and it has no issues great, if it sucks return it. Can't really lose here if you are in the market for something like this. Essentially a free trial for 30 days.

Also, as far as reviews go. People are 10 times more likely to leave a negative review or share a negative experience than they are a positive one. You go to a restaurant the food is good, you probably don't tell anyone. You go and the food is awful, you probably tell everyone you can. It's called "negativity bias" - look it up. Point being for every sh!t review there are 10 good experiences that people don't write about because they got what they expected.

Convinced?!

True... but who wants to take it apart, box it back up, load and unload in your car, drag it into Walmart, and then wait in line.

No it doesn't not have weights. But this is worth far more than the price. And it's a wonderful piece of hardware for only 129

Your best bet is to be patient and buy everything on a slick deal piece by piece. I got dumbbells separate weights separate all i need is the bar be patient trust me and good luck!!!
Watch Craigslist/offerup type of places. I found a bar for $100 that was a reputable brand, I've been happy with it.

I have the Gold's Gym XRS-20 and this looks very similar. I'm 6'2" /210lb and this works just fine for me. If you are on the fence, this is a great price and I'd recommend it!

Looks pretty flimsy. IDK if I would trust this setup with heavy squats.

This is fine in a pinch. It can be a bit wobbly but it gets the job done.

Edit: I've been doing the 5x5 program on this and 180-220 squats and bench presses on here are fine. Again, a bit wobbly but it holds up.

I feel you on that but having purchased I have no regrets cause just to have a bench rack
and preacher area is worth it alone

More features than I was looking for but in the price range so I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

Good for light weight movements. The price is great, pretty much back to "regular price" and better than nothing.

I got a cage but my actual bench is falling apart. Is this a good deal basically for a new bench? Not worried about squat rack, I will sell that

That's what I'm thinking. For $130 to get a decent bench with leg workout. However there are much better benches if you don't need leg workout, with squat you get plenty of that.

Just purchased the xrs 20 for $199, this is a great buy. The bench is very cheap. I'm about 5'8 and it's barely high enough to be able to squat with this set. Otherwise, good price and pairs well with 300lb weight set from Dick's with 7' Olympic bar.
can it really handle the 300lbs? i know it says it can do 800lbs but i know thats bulshit haha
