Technically Bluetooth is built into the switch. That's how it communicates to the joy cons. They just don't use it for audio. Maybe because it would create latency for the controllers.

This mentions aptx low latency. Does the headphones also need to support that? I have a hard time actually finding headphones that have this. What are some decent but not insanely expensive phones that have aptx LL?

This actually went up in price the last couple days. its been sitting at a dollar less ($16). I'd say this is a shill post. the reason I havent made this purchase was because I'm pretty sure the seller is selling non-authentic dongles

I have these, got them on a deal a while back. My main issue is they don't sit flush with the switch. The usb c is slightly to long and sticks out.

Looks like this won't allow you to plug it in when it is docked since the usb-c port is already occupied?

Crazy thing is that the switch does have working Bluetooth. It's what's used to connect to the joycons. They just disabled audio for some reason.

What's even more crazy is that the PSP Go and the Vita supported bluetooth audio. Dammit Nintendo.

That's why it comes with the usb-c to usb-a adapter to let you plug it onto the side of your dock

Do you think it sticks out enough for a thin case to fit underneath?

It's maybe an 1/8 inch of gap so maybe if you modify it

I've been shopping around for these lately and this seems fine, but there are are similar versions for around the same price. I would assume this would work for the Lite as well ... I just haven't been able to bring myself to get one because (as stated above) it's just nuts that this is necessary. Also, I don't need the ability to connect 2 headphones at once.

Also, I know there are some transmitters that will allow you to use voice when playing online games and these would not. I think you could get a 3.5mm mic and be all set for voice as older models came with those.

Is this any different? https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-...08LND59KQ/
