I bought this during the last sale. I've been happy with it. It does the job. Yes it does slow down a bit when you push hard in the muscle, but i think its expected versus the $150+ models. If you are not a frequent user, this should be sufficient. But if you are using this daily or for a profession, I would spend more on a higher quality product.
Guys these are garbage. If you want a cheaper one buy the sharper image $100 version at Costco. I got one of these cheap sub $50 ones and it died after a few weeks. Maybe if you only use it on the first setting? But it would overheat on the highest which is the main point for these. fortunately i for a full refund and I am a fan of the costco one. the digital display and battery level are worth it.

I also agree. I did a ton of research and landed on the Bob and Brad version on Amazon. There is a guy who reviewed over 30 of these guns who is also a contestant on American Ninja Warrior so his opinion is legit. He chose this gun so I ordered it and I am completely satisfied. I gave the sharper image from Costco to my mother-in-law as a gift. It was quieter but had more of a rattle once pressure was put on my muscles so I opted to stay with the one I bought originally in give that one away
I'm pretty sure this is the 3rd or 4th time this deal has been posted. Each past deal has dozens of pages of feedback, so a quick search should be in order. In short, they're garbage alongside any Amazon massage gun that is priced under $50. General consensus is the ones that are priced ~$80-120 are the best quality alternatives to a Theragun.

This made me literally lol (not saying your/his info is wrong - just that testimony from a ninja doesn't hold a lot of sway with me)

I wouldn't trust an american ninja because it's straight up cultural appropriation, just like kimonos, kanji tattoos, and dabbing.
