Not sure exactly how I did it, but I just loaded my cart with "buy more save more" labeled items and added the compressor. I made everything beside compressor 'Ship to Home' and then selectively deleted items until % on compressor changed to 30% ($100 off). It will incrementally change from 9%-30% as you make the deletions. Then go in and cancel the ship to home items and pick compressor up at store as needed. Solid deal on this compressor.

the deal here is to get as close to 500$, to get the 150$ off and maximize the percentage saved... 30% is what you're looking for.
Compressor is 349$
349 - 500 = 151$, so look for an item that's closest to 151 without going under...
Hackzall is 159$, this will net you 30% savings on both items.
no magic to it, no adding multiple items and removed until you achieve something awesome. just some simple grade-school math
