Deal is live again, SELECT Home Depot locations have the M18 FUEL Compressor for $329 (others are $349) which after returning/canceling the 5.0 ah battery, reduces the price to $226.45. YMMV as it seems Home Depot has been cracking down on the store change trick. I've read that using incognito mode on your browser may help (unable to confirm). Only 259 available to ship at time of posting.

1. Find a store with $329 price (store # 1070 for example)
2. Select free gift 5.0 ah XC battery
3. Add both to cart and checkout
4. Cancel or return battery

I have a 12.0 battery attached to mine and it lasts a very long time.

What nailer were you using? Brad? How about framing?

This'll be great for brads, trim nails, and staples, but with only 1.2scfm and 2 gallons of reserve, a big framing nailer will quickly outpace a little compressor like this and you'll spend a lot of time waiting for the compressor to build up pressure.

As someone who uses this and works in the trades, I'll chime in. This is perfect for small jobs. It is very quiet compared to the rolair, dewalt, compressors I've used. Exterior window replacement, new trim, small decks, landings, etc. It is very portable. I've used it to replace joists on rotting decks, stringers, trim. It can push a framing gun no problem, but don't expect to be nailing off plywood 3" OC. This is a good deal for a good compressor, but I'd make sure you're in the M18 system already.

12ah has served me a day with this replacing a some exterior decking and stringers. I would suggest having 2 available and 1 of which always charged.

Not trying to be funny, but would this be good for compressed air blowing at high PSI. I am working chiseling out some cracks in my concrete to fill them with Silka crack filler and was thinking this would work perfectly to blow the cracks out. Just not sure how long it will last off the battery. I may just stick with the high PSI power washer. Thanks for the help.

I have this tool. It does eat battery if you use a bigger nailer. I used an 18ga to build a 25ft section of privacy fence. A 12ah battery might have helped here but my biggest is an 8. I went through that quickly, put it on the charger, ate through both my 6s, used the 2ah in desperation, then finished the job with the 8 that had been charging. Barely.

With the change, are you able to return the battery with little to no effort?

I wonder if HD knows about these "hacks" by now and these are just their new marketing strategy

Had to select the same delivery method. Could not cancel battery online without cancelling entire order. Battery and compressor listed separately on receipt and being shipped separately. Hoping that I can return battery in store without any problems. Will update after attempting to return battery in store.

I feel like it may be a way around manufacturer pricing reqs.
