My local grocery store only takes debit cards, not credit cards. These gift cards can be used for debit purchases, not cash out.

This is for points on a 5x earning card at office supply stores such as the Ink Plus. If you don't have one of these cc's, this isn't for you.

In addition to the 5% cash back on my amex business, amex has an offer $25 back on any $500 spend. I assume thats another 5%. Wonder if staples will let me buy 5x$200 cards and let me split it into two $500 amex charges.

The cashiers may stop you. The POS will let you, but for Visas the manager needs to approve the purchase and they'll limit you to one in most cases since they know what they're doing.

You can split a charge at Staples, though.

Edit: limit 5 this time. That's new.

I guess the best alternative is to buy 2@$200 and 1@$100 with a fee?
