Looks like the stores want $99 and then saying $50 is mail in rebate BS.

Anyone know where I can buy numbers to port? May be pick up the free one plus or the Moto One 5G Ace for cheap.

Try Google voice number it's 3 bucks to get one and should work to port in

MetroPCS does not accept VOIP numbers Google Voice has never worked or ever will. But thanks anyway.

Looks like they closed the loophole the store checks the number and ID to see if it is few days old number that you purchased from ebay they dont give you the offer on the phone,

How would they know how old? Or it came from ebay? Numbers get recycled all the time. Right?

I need to switch to metro. Called and asked about it since I need to add a line to my wife's account. They did state it is the 99 + tax and it's a rebate 50 dollar rebate after 3 months of service.

Buyer from Metrobyt-mobile be aware: NEVER show your ID to the store associate when checking if phone in stock or not. They will ask your ID and will say they need to check whether your number can be ported out or not before they talk to you further. I didn't know and I gave them my ID when they asked me . They checked system and said the number is ok to port out, but the phone I like is not in stock. After several times checking to see whether the phone in stock or not, they blocked my ID and ask me to pay high price.
