If you need to unlock your phone so that you can switch out your SIM card, it's no problem. There are just a few requirements to be aware of:
The phone must be an Xfinity Mobile device.
The phone must not be reported lost, stolen, or involved with fraudulent activity.
The phone must be paid in full prior to requesting the device unlock. If your device is on a Device Payment Plan, it is ineligible for unlocking.
The phone cannot be active on another Xfinity Mobile customer's account. If the phone previously was active on another Xfinity Mobile customer's account, it must be paid for in full.
You must have completed and paid for at least one full billing cycle of Xfinity Mobile service since purchasing the phone.
A minimum of 60 days must have passed since you activated the phone.
Your Xfinity Mobile account must be in good standing.
The device must have been purchased on the account of the authenticated customer who is requesting the unlock.

Wait for the Pixel 6... rumor is that it will get a new camera sensor
Thank You in Advance.
Will it be the same sensor as the Pixel 7?😊
Thinking I might port over an elderly relatives number too from Cricket and just put her on my acct. She uses no data and is spending $30 per month at Cricket.
Do it mate. Good deed for the day while slickdeal ing.
So we would be able to port over a number to this if we wanted to?
Also do you know if you have to have a 5g XM plan? I'm grandfathered in on the old plan. Not sure if I could keep that plan with this phone or not? I thought I read that this isn't any faster than 4G as it's not the UW 5G?
Thanks,
-Guru
Grandfathered in to what plan? Didn't they do away with all the 100mb free plans? *Sighs* I miss my $2 monthly bill

Just wondering how the XM port process works?
Thanks,

I haven't used Xfinity, but porting should be the same for (almost) all carriers: the porting process starts once you have the phone and go through the activation process. The info you put in when ordering may be validated then (to validate the number is eligible for the promo and service) but won't go through until you get the phone; otherwise you'd be without an active number while the phone was being shipped :-)
Transferring to the new phone usually isn't a problem, as long as you save your contacts, photos, etc into you Google account, especially since Google also provides a cable and adapter to physically connect the old phone to the new one and grab the important files. Still, I usually handle it for my folks and MIL.

Scroll down to the bottom and notice the variants on the Verizon model and notice band N41 is supposedly missing. DOA if you have T-Mobile. I was going to buy and use it for T-Mobile until I saw that. Avoid this deal if you're planning on using it with T-Mobile if phonearena is correct.
For those who can't find it. Non Verizon version.
5G: n1, n2, n5, n12, n25, n28, n41, n66, n71, n78, Sub-6
