About to return it due to constant restarting / WiFi drops.
Reset it numerous times, even to factory default....still drops.
Had the cable company bring a new modem....still drops.
Never had the issue with a Linksys EA9500.
Different gear for different cases.
Thats cause the technology in the X60 is superior to the triband Deco M9+. While the Deco M9+ is a great system it cant compete with the X60 in performance and throughput.
A M9+ with optimal client and close range can push about 550 Mbps while an X60 around 750-800 Mbps.

dual Band WiFi 6 mesh system will knock the socks off a lot of what used to be best sellers on amazon, BB, Wally World, etc. So if you are coming from a $300 top of the line router, probably not your market anyway.
Think I've also seen that X60 top speeds do exceed those of the M9 even though it's dual band. But M9 speeds would have been more than enough for my internet plan/speed.

X60 speed improved and also the ping is lower than M9, so definitely an improvement for me.
X60 never had and issue such as disconnect or slowing down. Only internet issue from time to time came from the Xfinity service.
I strongly recommend it for this discounted price. Parental control is good too, easy to block Youtube from my kids gadgets and also I can instantly stop internet for those gadgets in a group.
It is designed for pure wireless just like every other mesh system, but it supports ethernet backhaul if you choose to use it.

I was thinking about it but then read somewhere that it does not have a 160 mhz band. So I am not sure if I should get it or not. Any suggestions on a good router/mesh for me within this price range.
Tp link website says it can block up to 32.

If the equipment is going to be in a centralized location you might not need a mesh, but a single router might be enough.

Maybe you just got a dud?
https://www.newegg.com/asus-rt-ax...6833320457
Has everything you will need for a long time, minus a 2.5Gbps which is in its more expensive brother
https://www.newegg.com/asus-rt-ax...6833320454
(only go with this one if you for sure will be implementing a 2.5gbps network outside of that save the money and stick with the above one.)
The brand new TP-Link model that just came out is your other good option, with the number of antennas it has should cover 2000sq feet without an issue, unless you live in fort Knox.
https://www.newegg.com/tp-link-ar...6833704537
So the above options are premium high end routers but not top of the line. If you think you really dont need all that and your needs are slightly more modest, as in you want something more middle of the line. The AX3000 series type routers are your best bets and will cost you between $140-$180.

Yes there is a downside to mesh, some client devices dont work well with mesh and can be finicky. Mesh should only be implemented in situations where for a fact a single router will not cover the whole area. Everything from ring doorbells, to apple products, to a few samsung phones have all been known to have problems with mesh, on top of that older home smart gear need 2.4ghz and sometimes have problems connecting to a mesh network.
