I would say this is a good deal, not a spectacular deal. Nice that it comes with a pen. And screen size is 15.6, It should play most games at FHD resolution and setting at medium. Ryzen 4700U is the champ

Would you happen to know if the RAM can be upgraded?

Ok seems like you can upgrade max to 32gb according to some reviews and crucial.com. AlsoI called Costco concierge and they said to go look at the bottom of this unit. If there's a hatch u can upgrade but if not then U can't. Also if you mess up the pc while upgrading they won't fix it and if you have to send it in put the original 8GB back in before sending it in.

Looks like these are the same specs as the Pavillion for $649.99. Only difference is that the $649.99 model has 16gb and this one has 8, although you can use this one as a tablet.

Not sure if I missed anything else.

Pavilion is no comparison to Evny as far as built quality is concerned
Same is true b/w Envy and Spectre

Would buy if it had 16gb. Hope they release a new model or adjust the price.

You can add more RAM and change the wifi card if needed on the 15" model.

This model has a max 250nit screen that usually tests a little lower in actual brightness.

Lenovo has a much better display. I have the pavilion end lenovo. The lenovo's display is much brighter.
