Got this last time, having no idea what it was. It tastes like a spicy bbq sauce, to me. I like pretty hot and this was only a little spicy to me, but my wife and kids definitely thought it was on the spicier side.

All in all I like it. I wish it was hotter and it's honestly pretty high in calories, but I like it and would get it again.

Also, I saw it at my local grocery store this week, on sale, for almost $5.
Its made out of sweet rice. Bbq sauce absolute dogshit it is bad for your health

S&S is a scam. I figure I change my oil every 6 months so why not utilize a subscription? Well, they end up jacking up the price of the oil almost 40%. Wal-Mart was $10 cheaper.

True story to be aware of. I bought this at my local grocery store. I am a fan of spicey hot sauces. Real hot. I put this on my chicken for dinner. The heat index would be a 6 on a 1-10 scale. The after effect: I woke up at 2 am, with this burning and choking like I took a blow torch to my esophagus! It was so intense I could not go back to bed nor a good dose of pepto could resolve. Coming from a person that can withstand heat from sauces, this one in particular felt like it came back up 7 hours later as a actual inferno. So I leave you all warned, and I have no idea what is in this, but it's not that hot, but comes back to bite. Bad. Bad. Seriously.

Of the (likely hundreds of) Subscribe and Save items I purchased in the last year, only two stayed on there. One is an item that's hard to find delivered elsewhere, the other is an item that's hard to find below it's retail price (which doesn't seem to change on Amazon).

The rest of the items all got canceled after first delivery, because I bought it due to a deal, and I know the price was going to increase substantially.

Subscribe and Save (and really, Amazon as a whole for the last 10 years) has only ever been about convenience, not savings. And during Rona they even managed to fark up the convenience part, by being out of everything, or being late on everything.

No it's not. Most items I buy there are legitimately cheaper than the alternative. It's usually base price of where most places sell it along with the 5-15% off. If I can find it cheaper elsewhere from S&S which is not usual, then I buy it elsewhere. Sometimes you get an even better discount if you got something like 30-50% bonus first time subscriber discount for a specific item.

Why? Does McDonald's hot mustard make you need to poopoo?
McD's has hot mustard? Where do you live? Is it in any way like hot Chinese mustard or a spicy honey mustard. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight.

Jesus, you saved my ass. Thank you. Is all Gochujang this sugary? Jesus
In general, yes. You can make a paleo/whole 30 friendly version that tastes similar using the korean red pepper powder and applesauce that doesn't have sugar added (many do). It's okay but doesn't keep like the proper paste which can last forever. This sauce is merely a derivative of the vinegared chili paste which is used in a lot of korean dishes Fun fact, korean grocery stores will have a pretty substantial section of an aisle dedicated to various corn and rice syrups because it's used in the cuisine pretty liberally.

lol there are a lot of condiments that come in this type of bottle. They really help with getting every last bit. I think it's most common with mayonnaise.

I've seen those mayonnaise bottles but they are at least like beige or off white. I definitely opened this thread because the label makes it look like a shampoo//body wash product.
